Our people group has made radical changes the last 10 years. At times, it feels like a totally different group of people. Political and cultural "emerging" has definitely caused us to make adjustments to that MSP. Emerging should be a missiological term as well as a cultural term. God doesn't change, but shouldn't we all be changing to be more Christ-like? If our people group is moving farther away from God, then shouldn't our lights burn a little brighter and our saltiness be a little more salty. And I would also venture to say that our methodology also needs to emerge a little more to really engage our people group where they are now, not 10 years ago (or even where some other people group is at the moment).

Good question!
